Who Can Invest?

Accredited investors who are Princeton alumni, faculty or staff and immediate family members are eligible to invest in PAA companies.

What Types of Companies Pitch to PAA?

To date we have seen early stage companies from a range of industries, from consumer products to life sciences. Most companies are raising pre-seed or Series A funding.

Is there a minimum amount required to invest?

This depends on the individual companies minimum investment size. Past rounds have included investments ranging in size from 5k to over 100k.

Am I required to invest if I attend Pitch Night?

There is no commitment to invest in companies that present at Pitch Night. We leave it up to each investor whether or not they wish to participate in due diligence and investing.

Does PAA make recommendations on how to invest?

We do not make any recommendations on whether or not to invest. PAA’s responsibility to our community is to: find and introduce high quality startups to our investors; organize due diligence; ensure investors have enough information to make a decision.
